News for August 23 - 27th

Literacy:
- Work on Summer Reading Projects - **now due Monday, August 30th, see link for rubric http://www.scribd.com/doc/36302983/Summer-Reading-Project-Rubric
- Non-fiction vs. Realistic Fiction

Math:
- Continue Range, Median, and Mode and add Mean
- Graphing Project (done in class, rubric will be given Tuesday)
- Review and Test on Graphing, Range, Mean, Median and Mode Friday, August 27th; CLICK for studying materials

Science:
- How to use a microscope and learning its parts
- Onion skill cell activity in the Science Lab
- Cell Booklet project
- Jello Cells : Each student was assigned to bring a specific item by Thursday, August 26th! Click on the link to open a page and see what you (your student) is responsible for:

* Colors' Day Lps. 5 on Friday, August 27th
